Devlog 10


Final week of development!

This week we focused on polishing, testing, and decorating. 

Some tasks completed were:

  • Added assets to all levels to decorate
  • Added cold/hot zone areas and effects to final level
  • Creating the end game sequence and connecting everything together
  • Getting save files set up and working to allow players to save their levels and scores
  • Added greenhouse environments for the final 2 levels and created visual for outside the glass
  • Further improvements to graphics, camera, functionality
  • Created a gameplay trailer and itch.io page
  • Bug fixes

Challenges:

  • Prioritizing final implementations and figuring out what isn't worth going for for this final build
  • Time constraints as always, but especially for this week!
